PoCA 2025 is supported by the Archaeological Research Unit
​Participation in the conference is FREE for both on-site and online presentations. Participants who attend in person will, however, need to make their own travel and accommodation plans and arrangements.

Travel Grants
​We are currently applying for funding to partly cover travel costs for participating students. More information will follow after confirmation of participation.
The admission to the symposium is open to everybody, and we invite all interested people to attend the communications.
For PhD students wishing to attend the conference in person in Nicosia, we strongly advise reaching out to their universities to explore funding opportunities for their travel.

Transportation from the airport
You can get to Nicosia from the Larnaca or Paphos airport with the shuttle buses "Kapnos".
You can take the buses 3, 4 and 5 to go to Solomou Sq.
Transportation in Nicosia
You can get to the New Campus either by taxi or bus! Here are some information on how to get around.
Bus options:
You can download the smartphone application Cyprus Bus Motion (only on android) or Pame App, to get information on bus schedules and routes.
Most buses start from Solomou Sq. central bus stop in Downtown Nicosia, the Strovolos central bus stop or the Makario Stadium central bus stop.
Routes that go to the New Campus of the University:
Starting from Solomou Sq.: 33, N2
Passing from Eleftheria Sq.: 41
Other: 38, 39, 42 (Makario Stadium-Univ. of Cyprus, not Larnaca!), 43 (only every 3 hours!) 44, 46, 48

Attention! You can only pay by cash only in the bus (2.4 euros per trip), or you can get a a multiple rides, daily, or multiple day ticket only at the central bus stops.
